MULTISPECIALITY HEALTH CAMP AT ULIYIL, KANNUR

A.K Family Trust & Uliyil Crescent Cultural Trust organized a Mega Medical camp at Govt Up School Uliyil, Iritty, Kannur on 14/05/2023. The camp started at 9:00 am. A total of 484 beneficiaries were there.

Department of Community Medicine along with Department of General Medicine, OBG, ENT, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Urology and Gynaec oncology attended the cases of the respective departments. People in need of further investigations and procedures were referred. A total of 50 references were there. Cancer screening were done which includes 17 mammography and 41 pap smear examination.

Department of Community Medicine along with the interns evaluated the vitals, screened for Diabetes and Hypertension , and provided primary health care for all the people gathered in the camp. The camp was a great success. The people were very cooperative and were happy with the services provided to them.
