During the 3rd State Conference of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine, Karnataka Chapter, held at BLDE (Deemed to be University) Shri B.M. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre in Vijaypura on September 15th and 16th, the Community Medicine department at Yenepoya Medical College was honored with awards. Dr. Mridul M received recognition for delivering the best oral presentation in the PG category for the session. The title of his paper was "Awareness and attitudes towards risk factors and prevention of stroke among patients with hypertension consulting a teaching hospital in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka."
