Outreach activities conducted by the Department of Community Medicine in December 2022

Brief summary of the camp: A General school screening health camp was conducted by the Yenepoya Medical Dental College, Mangalore at Yenepoya school, on 07/12/2022. From the Yenepoya Medical and Dental college, the following departments of General Medicine, Community Medicine, Pediatrics and Dental were present. A total of 285 beneficiaries of first and second PU students were seen in the General medicine department. The students who needed further specialty consultation were referred to Yenepoya medical and dental college. The pediatric department screened for height, weight, Immunization history of the students from 3rd,4th, and 5th. The students were also given dental consultation and advise for further intervention. The students were screened for anemia, BP, PR was recorded and noted down in their medical file. We thanked the officials and participants for their cooperation. And students and staffs also thanked us and appreciated for the camp
