YENMUN 2025

On July 1st and 2nd, 2025, the YENMUN Society successfully hosted the third edition of its flagship Model United Nations Conference - YENMUN 2025. The event brought together students from various colleges across Mangaluru for two days of dynamic debate and diplomacy.
The conference began with a formal inaugural ceremony, graced by our esteemed chief guest, Dr. Aqueela Sayed, Professor of Hospital Administration. She was joined by other dignitaries on the dais, including Mr. Prakash Saldanha, Vice Principal of Yenepoya Medical College, Dr. Sheetal Savur, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, and Mrs. Annie Jane, Student Welfare Officer.
The ceremony was compered by Shriprajnya Anand from the Batch of 2023 and included addresses by the President and Vice President of the YENMUN Society - Niveditha Girish and Mohammed Asad, both from the 2023 batch.
This year's edition featured two engaging committees:
- Lok Sabha, chaired by Tejas Murugan, a seasoned MUNer who has chaired over 16 conferences across Karnataka, along with Vice Chair Mina Akbar from our own 2024 batch.
- UNGA Crisis, led by Manav Dharia, a veteran of the MUN circuit with six years of experience, alongside his Vice Chair Samridhi Salian, whose journey from delegate to vice chair has been nothing short of inspiring.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 60 delegates, sparking intense debates, captivating cultural performances, and culminating in a thrilling prize distribution ceremony.
YENMUN 2025 was an overwhelming success and received high praise from delegates and attendees alike.
