The Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) is being offered at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. It is an undergraduate degree program that prepares students to become professionals in the field of audiology and speech-language pathology. This program takes four years to complete and is designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals with hearing and speech disorders.
The program is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi.
Eligibility
- The candidate applying for admission to the B.ASLP program should have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination conducted by the Pre-University Board of Education of the respective State Government, securing a minimum of 50% marks. Relaxation in the qualifying marks shall be as per the rules and regulations of the respective University / State/UTs or Central Government.
- The applicant/candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology.
